At times, in certain company, we can feel invisible. It can seem as if we are not seen, not heard and not even counted as present. This can lead to all of those feelings, words and needs getting stuck and mixed up, until you are unsure what you really do think or feel.
There is power in speaking words out loud that you have never before allowed yourself to even think, let alone say to another person. There is such value in being heard- and validated for having feelings- even if they are not the ones everyone else expects from you, or the feelings that you think you are “supposed to have”.
